Back in 2011, Kids Cook the World was endorsed by some of the world’s best chefs, including Ferran Adrià, Gordon Ramsay and Marco Pierre White.
Kids Cook the World encourages children to think about what they eat. Each dish represents the background of one of our children. Ingredients are no-fuss, affordable and healthy.
Simply put, we absolutely loved every minute of creating Kids Cook the World. Our children learnt how to cook healthy meals from scratch - they went from not knowing what an avocado was, to making the most delectable guacamole!
Bursting with delicious flavours from countries across the world, Kids Cook the World includes a foreword by the world’s greatest chef, Ferran Adrià. Our book was stocked by Asda and Wholefoods - where our children were the stars of several book signings.

I feel a huge sense of nostalgia. It was such a different time and I was such a different person. Although looking at my younger self does bring about some sad memories, it also reminded me of the moments of fun I did have at that age. In retrospect, looking back at the child version of me, has shown me how much I have grown and developed, both physically and mentally, something I sometimes struggle to be proud of.
Being part of the book definitely has influenced the person I am right now. It showed me that I’m capable of so much more, especially at a time where I was not confident in myself. It’s one of the most defining moments of my life. I don’t remember much from my childhood, but this experience is definitely one of my happiest memories. It is one of the moments that bonds be so close to Solidarity Sports and the people I’m proud to call family.
I tell him to keep his head up and continue being strong. That I only exist now as I am, due to his hard work and choices, and so I’m thankful for his resilience. That even though life has its dark moments, it will all be okay and that the joys of life will outshine those bad moments. And lastly, I would tell him that he is loved by so many people, both friends and family, even if it’s hard to notice at times.
