Welcome to our brand new monthly giving programme, Memory Makers! Would you like to have a positive long-term impact on our children? Being a Memory Maker takes you on a journey at the heart of our work, giving you an exclusive look at our impact with quarterly updates.
We took our children to Wales to experience farm life. Take a look at what we got up to!
What is PGL for our children? We take our children to a residential trip for 5 days where they participate in lots of really cool activities including canoeing, fencing, giant swing, archery, abseiling and much more.
It’s a unique experience where they have the freedom to really be themselves. Don’t believe us? Just take a look at the silly dance called ‘Darkness’ at 0.14 !
We had a fabulous 5th birthday! The children performed brilliantly during their theatre performance. Our friend Gary Lee, Executive Chef of The Ivy, gave an inspiring speech to over 100 guests. Hugh Edmeades, international Director of Christies, kindly conducted our live auction. Thanks to all the volunteers and our special guests who helped make this such a memorable event!
We were delighted to have the Executive Chef of The Ivy join us for a special cooking demonstration at Peter Jones, Sloane Square. The children had lots of fun and delighted a packed audience!
Video compilation, celebrating 5 years of inspiring work in the community!

As part of Google’s ‘Optimize Your Life’ initiative – which aims to make Googlers the healthiest and happiest employees in the world! – we were invited to a Kids Cook the World party at Google London. Solidarity Sports and Google children cooked together and recreated 7 healthy recipes from the book. They also vigorously cycled away to make fresh smoothies on blenders powered by bicycles! We would like to say a big thank you to all the Google team for a truly memorable event!
